Patient Success Stories
I flew in to meet with Maureen. I had been dealing with tailbone pain for 2 years since the birth of my daughter. However, it was made more complicated due to SI joint pain and having Ankylosing Spondylitis. I had been to many other doctors and PTs, but could not find relief for my tailbone pain. I had been told "there is nothing we can do". Maureen was very insightful and took a whole body approach to my pain...

I’m so happy I found Maureen! Pelvic floor therapy requires so much knowledge and expertise. I didn’t even know what I was missing working with other therapists until I met Maureen! She makes me incredibly comfortable even when I am at my most vulnerable. I feel very relaxed with her which is so so important for this type of therapy! I am recommending her to all my pregnant and post-partum friends!

Maureen is an amazing expert on all things involved with the pelvic floor. She provides well researched and thorough physical therapy approaches and biofeedback support for postpartum recovery. A real gem! A genuinely kind and energetic person to be around.
In the first 2-4 visits we provide an in-depth, whole-body assessment and treatment to determine all of the contributors to your pain & dysfunction.
The Corrective Phase
Now with a clear plan, we provide treatment, to the underlying causes, to correct them and help you feel better.
Build It Back In
At this stage you are improving. We continue whole-body care, with both hands-on techniques & corrective exercises, to challenge your system. As a result, you will be able to return to daily activities without experiencing symptoms.
Stabilization
At this point you are pain free, feel strong, and don’t have other symptoms. We teach you what to do so you don’t have to worry about your symptoms returning.
Recovery & Prevention
We provide ongoing treatment, tune-ups or annual check ups to help you stay strong, active and symptom free. Annual check ups are beneficial for women as hormones change in perimenopause and menopause and pelvic floor symptoms tend to recur. Ongoing pelvic health, spine, neck and TM joint PT can help with symptom and pain prevention and will advance strength and flexibility. This phase may include myofascial release, joint mobilization, dry needling, pelvic floor exercises, postural exercises and advanced strengthening, core work, flexibility and balance exercises.
